I took my oldest son to Florida for his 12th birthday, and OMG...did I have a BLAST!!! The weather was GREAT, the party scene was off the chain and the eye
candy....oh my gosh! (sorry hubby. lol) Anyhow, what was MOST surprising was loc'd heads were EVERYWHERE, come on Ft. Lauderdale y'all need to represent for real. I was one of very many loc'd heads there.
Here's a view from my room. Can y'all believe I let my son talk me into jet skiing? And after being scared for about 3 minutes, I was driving that jet like a pro. It left me battered and bruised all up and down my body, because the waves were pretty high, but it was all worth it.
When I first started my travel agency business, I did it with the desire to book vacations affordable for families to get away and spend that "family time" that is so much needed. But once I entered back into the Corp. America I lost focus on that desire. This trip definitely reminded me how important it is for us to spend time with and without our families to unwind and enjoy life. I think I will use blogging to start listing weekly vacation bargains. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks Brunsli & Goodnapps...I too am very pleased with my loc's lately. And yeah I must admit the "BIG" birthday bash was more for me then him...lol...I treated myself to a warm stone massage and a pedi and manicure it was great. hey I worked hard that day 12 years ago. lol
