Braid Out

Well, its been 1 week and 2 days and I am having fits because as of last night, I started smelling that "my hair is dirty" odor YUCK! I am not due to have it washed for another 4 days, but I don't know if I can wait that long, my philosophy is, if I can smell it, I'm sure the next man can too! So I will be calling my consultant tomorrow to see if I can get the okay to do something!

Today, was my first attempt at doing a braid out. I think the braid out went ok, I just put about 10 braids in, jumped in the steaming hot shower, jumped out the shower (after I bathe of course) undid the braids and viola. I see now, you don't get much body with these, but the crinkle look is kinda cute. Ok, so the pics didnt turn out so good, so I apologize for you all that waited to see this....

Actually I think it is cute. You can see how your locs really stretched with the braid out.

Coco said it! I have a little SL envy too. Your hair is looking fabulous from the get-go!

Very nice!!

If you want achieve a little more curls that last longer:

1. Leave the braids in longer, perhaps let them set over night.

To achieve more body:
1. Don't braid too tightly at the root. Leave just a little room between your roots and where you start the braid. This also relieves any undue pressure from your scalp.
2. Pull all your braids up into one big pony tail. If this puts too much pressure on your locks, just do one top pony tail with the braids up front. When you undo your braids, your locks will have a little lift to them. :-)
